Andrew Carnegie founded the first Hero Trust Fund in the USA. Four years later, he decided to expand the Hero Fund to include his home country, Great Britain. In the following three years, Andrew Carnegie set up Hero Trust Funds in Belgium, Denmark, Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland.
